Cushion, Front Seat

Removal

1. Remove the seat and track assembly. Refer to Section 01-10A. Place the seat on a clean surface.

2. Remove the seat tracks from the seat cushion assembly. Refer to Section 01-10A.

3. Remove the seat back latch/adjuster cover.

4. Disconnect the lumbar support pad inflating tube at the joint located on the inboard side near the seat back hinge.

5. Remove the screws retaining the seat back to the cushion.
   
   
   
   

6. Remove front seat cushion pad adjusting knob.

7. Remove the lumbar support pad compressor switch.

8. Cut the hog rings from the cushion cover and disengage the plastic retainers from the cushion frame. Remove the trim cover.

9. Remove the cushion pad from the frame.
   
   
   
   

Installation

1. Position the pad to the cushion frame.

2. Transfer all bolster tiedown wires to their respective listings in the trim cover assembly.

3. Position the trim cover over the pad and frame assembly.

4. Secure the trim cover to the cushion frame using hog rings and plastic J-retainers.

5. Install the front seat cushion pad adjusting knob.

6. Install the lumbar support pad compressor switch.

7. Install the seat back to the cushion assembly. Tighten the inboard pivot screw to 19-27 Nm (15-19 lb-ft). Tighten the two outboard retaining screws to 44-60 Nm (33-44 lb-ft). Connect the lumbar support inflating tube.

8. Install the seat back latch/adjuster cover.

9. Install the seat tracks to the seat cushion. Refer to Section 01-10A.

10. Install the seat and track assembly. Refer to Section 01-10A.

11. Check the seat tracks and safety belts for proper operation.
