High-Mount Stoplamp

2-Door

Removal

1. Locate wire to high-mount stoplamp under package tray, from inside luggage compartment. Pull wire loose from plastic clip.

2. Remove two beauty caps from the lamp cover.

3. Remove two screws, which can be accessed from the side of the lamp.

4. Pull lamp assembly toward front of the vehicle.

5. The bulb sockets can then be removed by turning counterclockwise.

Installation

1. Install sockets in the lamp by turning clockwise.

2. Push lamp assembly rearward, making sure that the tabs on lamp assembly engage into hole on the package tray.

3. Fasten lamp assembly to package tray with two screws.

4. Cover holes on the lamp assembly with two beauty caps.

5. From the inside of luggage compartment insert the wires to the plastic clip.
   
   
   
   

3-Door

Removal

1. Remove two screws from lamp assembly.

2. Lamp can then be pulled rearward from spoiler.

3. Disengage wiring harness "strain relief" clip by pulling straight out from lamp.

4. The bulb sockets can then be removed by gently twisting and pulling straight out of lamp.

Installation

1. Install sockets in lamp ensuring they are seated.

2. Insert wiring harness "strain relief" clip.

3. Align lamp mounting holes with U-nut in spoiler.

4. Fasten lamp to spoiler with two screws.
   
   
   
   

Convertible

Removal

1. Remove luggage crossbar.

2. Remove two screws which can be accessed from top of lamp.

3. Lamp can then be lifted from deck lid.

4. Disengage wiring harness "strain relief" clip by pulling straight out from lamp.

5. The bulb sockets can then be removed by gently twisting and pulling straight out of lamp.

Installation

1. Ensure rubber seal is positioned properly on lamp.

2. Install sockets in lamp ensuring they are seated.

3. Insert wiring harness "strain relief" clip.

4. Align lamp mounting holes with plastic nuts in deck lid.

5. Fasten lamp to deck lid with two screws.

6. Install luggage rack crossbar.
