2-Door

Removal

1. From within the luggage compartment, disconnect speaker lead from the radio wire harness.

2. Remove speaker cover, speaker retaining nuts and speaker from the underside of the package tray.

Installation

1. Position speaker to the underside of the package tray and install retaining nuts. Tighten nuts to 1.69-2.82 Nm (15-24 lb-in). Install the speaker cover.

2. Connect speaker lead and check speaker for proper operation.
   
   
   
   

3-Door and Cobra

Removal

1. Remove the speaker and grille assembly retaining screws from the quarter trim panel.

2. Lift the speaker and grille assembly from the trim panel. Disconnect the speaker connector lead.

3. Remove the nuts retaining the speaker to the grille assembly. Remove the speaker from the grille.

Installation

1. Position the speaker on the grille assembly. Install the retaining nuts.

2. Connect the speaker connector lead and check the speaker operation.

3. Insert speaker into the trim panel opening. Install the retaining screws through the grille.
