Radio and Radio with Tape Player and/or Compact Disc Player

Removal

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.

2. Install Radio Removing Tool T87P-19061-A into radio face plate. Push tools in approximately 25.4mm (1 inch) to release retaining clips.

    CAUTION: Do not use excessive force when installing radio removal tool, as this will damage retaining clips, making radio removal difficult.

3. Apply a slight spreading force on tools and pull radio from dash.

4. Disconnect the power, antenna and speaker leads and remover the radio.

Installation

1. Connect power lead, antenna and speaker leads.

2. Slide radio into dash ensuring that rear bracket is engaged on lower support rail.

3. Push radio inward until retaining clips are fully engaged.

4. Connect battery ground cable. Check for proper operation of radio and tape player.
