REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Printed Circuit

 

Removal

  1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
  1. Remove instrument cluster as outlined.
  1. Remove the terminal nuts from the voltmeter gauge, if so equipped.
  1. Remove lamp indicator bulb and socket assemblies and retain for assembly.
  1. Turn cluster so lens is upward. Remove 10 retaining screws from lens and mask and disconnect.
  1. Remove fuel/oil gauge, temp/volt gauge assemblies, speedometer and tachometer and retain for assembly.
  1. Remove and discard all snap-in connector clips.
  1. Remove printed circuit.
 

Installation

  1. Position the printed circuit over the locating pins and affix to locating pins in backplate.
  1. Install lamp and indicator bulb and socket assemblies.
  1. Install new snap-in connector clips.
  1. Install speedometer, tachometer, fuel/oil gauge and temp/volt gauge assemblies properly in backplate.
  1. Install terminal nuts to voltmeter, if so equipped.
  1. Install mask, lens and 10 retaining screws.
  1. Install instrument cluster.
  1. Connect battery ground cable.
