REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Ignition Coil Assemblies

 

Removal

  1. Disconnect the spark plug wires from the ignition coils. Refer to Spark Plug Wires Removal and Installation as outlined.
  1. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the ignition coil assembly.
  1. Remove the ignition coil assembly by removing the four retaining screws.



 

Installation

  1. Mount the ignition coil to its bracket and tighten the four retaining screws.
  1. Reconnect the engine harness electrical connector to the ignition coil assembly.
  1. Install the spark plug wires as outlined.
