The fuel supply manifold assembly delivers high-pressure fuel from the
vehicle fuel supply line to the four fuel injectors. The assembly consists of
two preformed tubes or stampings, one for fuel supply and one for fuel return.
The fuel pressure manifold assembly has four injector connectors, a mounting
flange to the fuel pressure regulator, a pulse damper, and mounting attachments
which locate the fuel manifold assembly and provides fuel injector retention.
The manifold is also equipped with a fuel pressure relief valve on the fuel
supply tube.
