Removal and Installation

1. Turn the wipers on and when the blades are to full travel on the windshield, turn the key OFF.

2. Raise hood and disconnect battery ground cable.

3. Remove windshield wiper arm and blade assembly from pivot shafts as outlined.

4. Remove LH cowl vent screen.

5. Disconnect linkage drive arm from motor crankpin after removing clip, outlined under Wiper Motor.

6. Remove pivot shafts retaining screws. Guide linkage and pivots from cowl chamber.

   NOTE: Before installing arm and blade assembly to pivot shafts, ensure motor is in the PARK position. Set blades as shown in illustration under Adjustments.

7. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Tighten six pivot retaining screws to 7-9 Nm (60-80 lb-in).
