Control Assembly

Removal

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.

2. Snap control opening finish panel away from instrument panel.

3. Remove four screws attaching control assembly to instrument panel.

4. Pull control assembly from instrument panel and disconnect wire connectors from the control.

5. Disconnect vacuum harness and temperature control cable from control assembly.

6. The control knobs can be pulled off the shafts.

Installation

1. Push control knobs on appropriate shafts, if they were removed.

2. Connect temperature control cable to control assembly.

3. Connect wire connector and vacuum harness to control assembly.

    CAUTION: Push on vacuum harness retaining nuts. Do not attempt to screw onto post.

4. Position control assembly in instrument panel opening and install four retaining screws.

5. Install control opening finish panel by snapping it into place.

6. Connect battery ground cable.

7. Check system for proper operation.
