Plenum Assembly

The plenum assembly is positioned at the heater case assembly opening and contains a polyurethane foam gasket to form a seal between the plenum assembly and the heater assembly plenum opening. The plenum is held in place by a retaining screw located at each side of the plenum chamber. Each register duct is installed with one screw where the duct slides over the plenum chamber outlet and one screw at the top of duct to the instrument panel. The plenum assembly contains two center register duct openings as an integral part of the assembly. The instrument panel must be removed for access to the plenum assembly.
