Heating and Defrosting

The heater system uses a single heater case assembly located under the instrument panel. This case contains the heater core, air temperature door and air discharge door assembly all located downstream from the blower assembly. The air temperature door and the air discharge door assembly are operated by self-adjusting control cables from the control assembly in the instrument panel. The heater core and blower motor can be replaced without removing the heater case from the vehicle.
