Accelerator Pedal Assembly

Removal and Installation

1. Using a suitable tool, push the accelerator cable nylon bushing out of the accelerator pedal arm.

2. Remove the two accelerator pedal assembly retaining nuts.

3. If replacing the pedal assembly and if the vehicle is equipped with a pedal pad trim cover, uncrimp the pedal pad cover and remove from the pedal.

4. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Tighten pedal assembly nuts to 14-20 Nm (10-15 lb-ft) and ensure pedal has no restrictions.
