REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Rotor Splash Shield

 

Removal

  1. Remove the three screws that attach the splash shield to the brake adapter.
  1. Remove the splash shield.
 

Installation

  1. If the shield is bent, straighten it before installation.

    NOTE: RH and LH shields are interchangeable.

  1. Position the shield to the axle adapter. Install mounting screws, and tighten them to 8-12 Nm (6-9 lb-ft). Note that the tabs on the shield should not interfere with the adapter shield mounting flange.
