The universal joints are a lube-for-life design and are equipped with nylon thrust washers at the base of the bearing cup. These thrust washers control end play, position the needle bearings and improve grease movement.
NOTE: Other type universal joints should not be used in place of this type. Driveshaft imbalance and vibration will result.
