REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Hood Support Rod

 

Removal and Installation

  1. Open hood and temporarily support hood in open position with a substitute rod.
  1. Remove support from stowed position.
  1. Remove the bolt that attaches the support rod mounting bracket to the radiator support.
  1. Remove rod and bracket.
  1. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Tighten bolt to 7-11 Nm (6-8 lb-ft).
