Fender, Front

Removal

1. Remove the radiator GOP as outlined.

2. Remove two screw and washer assemblies retaining the radiator support brace to front fender and radiator support.

3. Remove screw and washer assembly retaining front fender and rear upper mounting bracket to body.

4. Remove screw and washer assembly on bottom rear of fender. Retain spacer behind fender for installation.

5. Remove three push pins (four on LH side) retaining splash shield to body.

6. Remove four screw and washer assemblies along bottom of fender (two in front, two in rear) and three screws in fender wheel opening retaining the splash shield to fender and separate.

7. Remove three screw and washer assemblies from top of fender, retaining fender to body.

8. Remove fender from vehicle.

9. To remove sound insulator from fender, remove two push pins retaining sound insulator to fender and remove.

Installation

1. Position sound insulator to fender and secure with three push pins.

2. Position fender and splash shield to vehicle. Install three screw and washer assemblies to top of fender. Tighten to 8-14 Nm (6-11 lb-ft).

3. Secure splash shield to fender with three screw and washer assemblies in wheel opening and four screws (two in front and two in rear). Tighten to 8-14 Nm (6-11 lb-ft).

4. Install four push pins retaining splash shield to body.

5. Install screw, washer assembly and spacer to bottom rear of fender. Tighten to 8-14 Nm (6-11 lb-ft).

6. Install screw and washer assembly retaining front fender and rear upper mounting bracket to body. Tighten to 8-14 Nm (6-11 lb-ft).

7. Install radiator support brace to fender and radiator support with two screw and washer assemblies. Tighten to 8-14 Nm (6-11 lb-ft).

8. Install radiator GOP as outlined.
